Provide staff support, oversight and planning for the following events:

• Power In The Spirit
• Lay School of Theology
• Clergy Spouse Retreat
• Ambassadors Community for Theological Study (ACTS)
• Pre-Retirement Seminars
• Revitalizing Congregations
• Retreats
• Synod Council
• Leadership Convocation
• Deans
  
  

 Provide staff support, oversight and planning for the First Call Theological Education program

 Provide guidance and support to the bishop in matters of sexual misconduct cases

Provide "added presence" of the Office of the Bishop in the Richmond, Peninsula and Tidewater Conferences

 Attend meetings of:

• STAFF
• Executive Committee
• Synod Council
• Council of Deans
• Region 9
• Other events as appropriate
  
  

 Attend Synod and Churchwide Assemblies

 Preach, teach, lead retreats, do installations and be present at synodical gatherings and ecumenical events as needed or requested by the bishop.
