Bishop Humphrey’s Response to the Santa Fe High School Shooting

//Bishop Humphrey’s Response to the Santa Fe High School Shooting

“Thus says the Lord:
A voice is heard in Ramah,
lamentation and bitter weeping.
Rachel is weeping for her children;
she refuses to be comforted for her children,
because they are no more.” (Jeremiah 31:15)

Yet again we find ourselves reacting to the incomprehensible and unacceptable tragedy of a mass shooting.

We lift our prayers for the victims at Santa Fe High School and all who are affected.

Let us also recommit ourselves, as followers of Jesus, to help create ways to avoid future massacres and deadly violence.
